Day two of my weekly blogs
This week I learned a lot of things, such as copyright and Adobe Express. There are things that you are able to copyrightable such as; musical works, dramatic works, pantomime work, pictorial, graphic work, motion pictures, audiovisual work, sound recordings, and architectural works. On the other hand, titles, names, short phrases, slogans, ideas, and methods, are not copyrightable. In 1709, England passed the Statue of Anne, which is considered to be the first copyright law. It was the first law to grant ownership rights to individual authors rather than to publishers or even printers. In the 18th century, American colonies adopted copyright and it was based on the statute of Anne. Learning about copyright was something very interesting, if I’m being honest I thought copyright was just something that didn’t have a history but I was wrong.
Moving on to Adobe Express. Adobe Express is an app that you can literally use on your cellphone, computer, or any electronic device. This app makes it easy to create social graphics, and web pages, including short videos. If you’re new to this program it is recommended to look up educational videos about this app. As I was playing around with the app, I found myself very impressed with the app, and the quality that the app offers you. I’m still learning how to use the program but this app is such an amazing tool. As I was scanning through I was able to feel free and creative. I was able to add my taste on slides including in the project that I’m working on right now. Overall, this week's knowledge was very helpful it was a lot to process and learn but the outcome of this week's knowledge was to understand the basics of copyright and get used to using the app Adobe Express.
