 Throughout the years, digital art has emerged as a frequent topic in the talks about the modern world. Animation is a method in which figures are manipulated to appear as moving images. There are 5 types of animation. The first one is called, traditional animation. Traditional animation is referred to as cell animation, it is one of the older forms of animation. The animator draws every frame to create the animation sequence. Transitional animation consists of hand drawings called frames. In 2D animation, the animator has an option of creating rigs for the characters, and then moving the body parts individually, instead of drawing the characters over and over. The third type is 3D animation, also known as computer animation. 3D animation is the most common form of animation. 3D animations works in a complete different way than traditional animation. They both require an understanding of the same principles of movement and composition but the technical skill set is very different for each task. 3D animation is more similar to playing with puppets, rather than drawing. The animator has the capacity to move the characters in a 3D program with special controls that connects to each body part such as hands, elbows, lips and many more. 



Moving forward, the fourth animation is called motion graphics. Motion graphics is more different than the other types of animation. Motion graphics is the art of creatively moving graphic elements or text usually for commercial or promotional purposes. The fifth animation is called the stop motion. Stop motion is a special form of animation that combines live action film making principles with traditional character animation. Stop motion is done by taking a photo of an object, and then moving it just a little bit and taking another photo. The films such as “Toy Story” and “ A bug’s life” have become one of the most consistently successful both critically and financially. The power of story telling is that it has an ability to connect with people on an emotional level. Overall, Creating my animation was such a good experienced. I really enjoyed creating and learning more about the animation world and all the behind scene of how animations are created.

Day three of my weekly blogs

 This week's blog was more of the chill side. Don't get me wrong sometimes I enjoy being in a rush. But this week it was a chill week which I enjoy we all need a chill week here and there. Now let's talk about some elements of art that I found pretty interesting. Elements of art are more of the ingredients of a recipe. In other words, it fulfills all the work in order to get to the finished project. The elements of art are the building blocks of art. The first element of art is a line. The line is a mark with length and direction. A line has a different variation such as a thick or thin line or a different type of weight. Value is more of the relative lightness or darkness of something. Color is seen by the light reflecting off an object.  Learning the elements of art was such a good topic because most of the things that I learned or saw on the videos I didn't know.
