Day five of my weekly blogs

The photography  genre might be a little bit confusing. For example, fine art photos are images that are created solely for images or for the aesthetic of it. It’s honestly the opposite of documentary photography. Documentary photography tends to capture photos of life, people, and significant events. When creating documentary images, you first have to create a plan to focus on the model’s identity. You want to make sure you highlight their personality rather than developing our own ideas and art. Fine art portraiture it’s the opposite because the art that you create or your ideas are more important than the model’s identity. When it comes to fine art, fine art is a border category than conceptual photography. Which means not all fine art is conceptual. Some conceptual pictures may resemble fine art portraits. But the difference here is that conceptual portraits represent a specific idea such as any emotion you want to add, however, fine art portraits may have no specific mea...

Day four of my weekly blogs

This week was a little bit difficult for me due to the fact I got sick. But I still managed to do my work even though it was rough. This week I learned a lot of interesting things about digital tools. Let's talk about some things that I found interesting to learn such as touch screens. Touch screens are a tool for artists that they use to serve their job, however, some artist recommend using a tablet instead. Touchscreen technology is more complicated than what people think.  Six different technologies take the space to meet our differing touchscreen demands. Let's put it this way, what works on an ATM  won't work in children's book illustrations or animations. Another thing is that depending on what type of device you use your price range could go up or down. You can probably use a phone to take photos or other edits it would only cost you about $200-$1000 or more. It all depends on what model or plan you have. Another thing that Shocked me was that Laptops gained a l...

Day three of my weekly blogs

This week's blog was more of the chill side. Don't get me wrong sometimes I enjoy being in a rush. But this week it was a chill week which I enjoy we all need a chill week here and there. Now let's talk about some elements of art that I found pretty interesting. Elements of art are more of the ingredients of a recipe. In other words, it fulfills all the work in order to get to the finished project. The elements of art are the building blocks of art. The first element of art is a line. The line is a mark with length and direction. A line has a different variation such as a thick or thin line or a different type of weight. Value is more of the relative lightness or darkness of something. Color is seen by the light reflecting off an object.  Learning the elements of art was such a good topic because most of the things that I learned or saw on the videos I didn't know. Now I do and it will help me in my future career and grow as the years go. Now let's touch on the pro...

Day two of my weekly blogs

This week I learned a lot of things, such as copyright and Adobe Express. There are things that you are able to copyrightable such as; musical works, dramatic works, pantomime work, pictorial, graphic work, motion pictures, audiovisual work, sound recordings, and architectural works. On the other hand, titles, names, short phrases, slogans, ideas, and methods, are not copyrightable. In 1709, England passed the Statue of Anne, which is considered to be the first copyright law. It was the first law to grant ownership rights to individual authors rather than to publishers or even printers. In the 18th century, American colonies adopted copyright and it was based on the statute of Anne. Learning about copyright was something very interesting, if I’m being honest I thought copyright was just something that didn’t have a history but I was wrong.   Moving on to Adobe Express. Adobe Express is an app that you can literally use on your cellphone, computer, or any electronic device. T...
